A Few More Details On The Long Road Trip For Those Who Are Interested…

Who?  – Me (Russ) and Steve. We have been good friends for many years and hope we can still remain friends after so much time together on the road. Keep in mind Steve wanted to fight me when he first met me. I’m still not sure what that was about. I think he was still on steroids then.

What?  – A good old fashioned road trip across the US in a big cozy car–no schedule, no rules and an 8-Ball to help us with our (Steve’s) moments of indecision. Pictures of Vicky will be going up shortly after we outfit her with a new stereo, cameras, CB, and other fun and useful gadgets. Her given name is Queen Victoria Johnson, but she prefers Vicky and we’re okay with that.

When?  – We plan to head out later this week, once Vicky is road trip ready.

Where?  – Leaving from Cali then planning to bounce around the country heading clockwise. We have a bunch of places/things pinned on the map and will have a live map posted where you can track our progress. (Track us in real-time here on Zemang0) Steve wants to go to Boring, Oregon and Cranky Corner, Louisiana. Yes, we’re still taking suggestions.

Why?  – Why not. Steve and I both have the time to pull this off and we can’t think of a better way to see the states. Right after college I did a similar road trip with a good friend (Matt Gentles). I still look back on that trip with nostalgia. Great times.
