Another high-tech gadget that we, the common folk, can't buy. The PD-100 Black Hornet looks like a toy but is marketed for military reconnaissance. The PD-100 will fly for 25 minutes on a charge and streams live video back to the user. Just like the DJI Phantom 2 Vision, but much smaller.
The PD-100 Black Hornets are currently being used by British soldiers in Afghanistan. These "drones" are manufactured by a Norwegian company, Prox Dynamics AS.
