The tag line for the Honeywell Lyric Thermostat is "You're in.  You're out.  You're all over the place.  What if your thermostat adjusted to your dynamic lifestyle?"  The idea behind the Honeywell Lyric Thermostat is that of a Smart Thermostat, similar to the Nest Thermostat.  Hey, finally a decent looking alternative to the Nest thermostat.

The Honeywell Lyric Thermostat adapts to your schedule.  It gets to know what you like and also knows when your home, via your phone.  Average energy savings using this type of smart thermostat are around $72.  The annoying part is that it is tough to buy this thermostat currently as it is only available from Honeywell certified contractors.  Mistake on Honeywell's part.  Lame.  Eventually they will roll it out to retailers, not sure why they did it in this order.  Honeywell Lyric Thermostat video after the break.
