Convert Your Saturn Sky To An Electric Car – The Amp

The Amp Electric Car

We love the Tesla all electric car, but the price and deliverable times make them unpractical… so, when we saw “The Amp” we got excited.

Say you have a Saturn Sky (similar to the Pontiac Solstice) laying around and just found $25,000 in the couch cushions… you can convert the gas powered car to an all electric.  The converted car will get 150 miles per charge, a top speed of 90MPH, and a zero-to-60 time of 5.7 seconds.  Not bad… will cost you about $50,000 total.

  1. What’s really funny about all this is that you’ll end up with a car that can’t even remotely come close to meeting your transportation needs, and STILL will have to own a gas powered car (or rent one). If you are that desperate to greenwash your image, ride a bike where people can see
you, then go to your hiding spot and drive your car, just like 250 millin other Americans.

  2. Kent – not sure I agree. Most people don’t drive over 150 miles per day or even in 2-3 days.
