We love the Tesla all electric car, but the price and deliverable times make them unpractical… so, when we saw “The Amp” we got excited.
Say you have a Saturn Sky (similar to the Pontiac Solstice) laying around and just found $25,000 in the couch cushions… you can convert the gas powered car to an all electric. The converted car will get 150 miles per charge, a top speed of 90MPH, and a zero-to-60 time of 5.7 seconds. Not bad… will cost you about $50,000 total.
What’s really funny about all this is that you’ll end up with a car that can’t even remotely come close to meeting your transportation needs, and STILL will have to own a gas powered car (or rent one). If you are that desperate to greenwash your image, ride a bike where people can see

Kent – not sure I agree. Most people don’t drive over 150 miles per day or even in 2-3 days.
