GoPro HeroCast Transmitter For Live Wireless HD Broadcasting
Broadcasters who use GoPro Hero cameras for unique immersive shots should be pretty excited about the GoPro HeroCast Transmitter. There are two versions the HeroCast and the HeroCast BacPac.
The HeroCast transmitter makes it so that broadcasters can access and use the great video live via a wireless feed. In other words they don’t have to wait for post-production video editing to see what they are shooting. The video is transmitted in full HD 1080p or 720p at 60 frames per second with H.264 encoding.
The GoPro wireless transmitter was created in conjunction with Vislink is smaller and lighter than anything currently available. Either version will work with the Hero3+ and Hero4 Black cameras and comes standard with 40 minutes of battery life (longer if you use external power). Yours for just $7,500. Ouch.
