Industrial Robot Performs Tattoo

Knowing what robotics are capable of, it is only a matter of time before you can get a tattoo performed by a robot. This guy in France has one now. But it was more of a test than anything.

The scary thing about this robot tattoo is that they did a 3D scan of the guys leg then tried to isolate it from any movement. This way, the robot wouldn’t dig too deep with the tattoo needle. Seems a bit dated. Why not real time 3D scanning. Geesh. Either way, I do believe that this will become a “thing”. Video of the tattooing robot after the break.
