MIT 3D Graphene Is Ten Times Stronger Than Steel


We keep hearing how graphene is going to change the world. Better substrates, building materials, and batteries because of this magical stuff. Not much actual product has made it to market but the demos keep getting better.

This video from MIT shows graphene’s hexagonal lattices in action for something that is 5-percent as dense as steel and ten times stronger.
