Two Huge Solar Farms Coming to California

California Solar Farm

San Luis Obispo county is the latest in a race to build the world’s largest solar farm.  The solar plant will cover 12.5 square miles and generate 800 megawatts of power!  OptiSolar (550 megawatts) and SunPower (250 megawatts) will be doing the installation.  The solar energy will be sold to PG&E at unknown rates.
