Brakes For Skateboards?
Folks, I can’t make this up. I know, I know… some parents reading this are thinking this is the best idea ever… and that they are going to buy them for Johnny’s skateboard. And I guess if Johnny sucks at skateboarding and lives on lombard street, this might be a good idea. But, for any self respecting skater… there is no way in hell they would install these on their board. Picture someone skating while holding a hand brake… now picture them hitting the bake to hard and flying off the skateboard. Still think it is a good idea? Get out your $110 and go here.

Sayin I installed the Skatebrake on my deck and I weigh 210, works for me it will work for you.
I also installed the skatebrake as front disk brakes on my 1,500 Watt electric skateboard which does 45 miles an hour, with a total weight of 320 pounds, I still have no problem stopping.
On my 22,500 Watt skateboard I installed Hydrolic brakes, it has a top speed of 111 miles an hour, at 48 volts.
Currently working on a 144 volt electric sakateboard.
Have fun cruisen with brakes I do, 4thhorsema,nxkyg
Check out this as an alternative. A simple mechanical brake, no cables, handles or modifications. For the cruiser yes, for the street skater obviously not.
