PowerLine PowerCup 200 Watt Inverter And USB Port Looks Like A Coffee Cup

Powerline Powercup

At first glance the PowerCup Inverter and USB charging port seemed like a brilliant idea, you put the coffee cup looking inverter in to your unused cup holder and plug it in to the cigarette lighter.  Well the big design flaw is the fact that you aren't supposed to block the air vents.  Where are the air vents?  On the bottom of the cup, the exact part that would be jammed in to the cup holder.  Bummer, because this is the coolest looking car inverter I have seen to date.

Not a big deal, we found a better alternative, read on for details.

Enter the Rally 7413 which is rated at the same 200 watts and is actually designed to work in a cup holder.  In addition to two 110v outlets you get a 12V outlet, and a USB port.  Not as pretty as the PowerCup inverter, but certainly more functional.  Yours for under $30 here.

  1. I agree with Ian! The Cup looks great except for the major design floor and the alternative may work but it’s a shocker
