Lotus Elite

It looks like Lotus is getting a bit more serious about wanting to play in the supercar market.  Their last cars, except for the Lotus Evora, were just too damn tiny for 6-footers to fit in comfortably.

The new Lotus Elite ($180,000) is powered by a 611hp  beast of an engine that is totally reliable, the 5-Liter V8 Lexus IS F motor.  The Elite will use an automatic transmission with optional use of hybrid KERS technology.  Expect 0-100 KMH times of about 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 195 MPH.  The best part is that it doesn't even look like a convertible with it's retractable hardtop.  I like everything but the price.
