Invisible Solar Panel Could Charge Future Phones
The future of gadget charging could be a transparent photovoltaic film that lives on top of your normal LCD screen. In theory, if you spend enough time outdoors you may never have to charge your cell phone again.
Wysips, a French company, has created a 100-micron clear thin film that can fully charge a cell phone in about six hours. Each hour of sunlight will provide about 30 minutes of talk time. Genius!
