Gadget Nerds… I Need Your Help… What Is This Thing Used For?

Folks, I am perplexed.  I don’t speak or read Japanese… and I think this egg gadget from Japan has only one purpose.  Maybe my head is in the gutter?  Anyone know what this thing is?
